I found a contest of a particular group in the 'online artist community' I'm in very interesting. Not only is the contest itself rather simple, I am extremely interested in the prizes.
Once I read the mechanics, I immediately envisioned my piece. However, by some twisted fate, I end up with a virus infested computer, a dark monitor and a several days before the deadline. I certainly cannot make the artwork digitally due to my monitor's current state. (I can't even finish my pending paintings) So I decided to work on it in traditional methods, with a medium, I certainly am not very comfortable with. :)
It's a risk.
